I got the best advice from a client of mine

2007-10-17 09:42:31 by az-pony

That sells fitness equip. to high end public gyms and home gyms. I asked him almost the same question when I was just starting out.
I said 'What is the best piece of equip. on the market that will help me at home or should I join a gym and just use their stuff?'
He said, 'The best piece of equipment is the one that you will USE. If you buy a bowflex or gazelle but don't use it there is no point. If you join a gym but never go then you are just throwing your money away. Think about who you are and be honest with yourself about it.'
So I got my treadmill, a yoga mat, and some weights, and it's been working out great!

  • Avatar BeatTheGib What's the best treadmill at the most reasonable price for home fitness?
Aug 06, 2007 by BeatTheGib | Posted in Diet & Fitness

Preferrably with a warranty of some sort. Also, if anyone knows of any good home gyms (not the BowFlex) where I could get a total body workout at a reasonable price, that too would be appreciated. Please provide links. Thanks.

    • The Total Gym is one. I think I've seen it advertised at Walmart or Kmart for a semi-reasonable price, at least it was less than what I paid for it. There is another called the Cross-bow by Weider that is very similar to …ment at a reasonable price. I paid $600 for my treadmill, but I got mine at Dick's Sporting Goods. The only way to get good stuff cheap is to check out your local papers in the classifieds for anyone who is selling stuff.

I'm searching for treadmill and found this Sole F80 on twitter http://amzn.to/9ZHmcJ It's well rated on Amazon.com and the comments about it are pretty good, but I'm just want to make sure it's worth the price. I owned …ries 7 Treadmill for a couple of years. It was repaired several times after mechanical and electrical problems. I don't want the same problem again. So, have anyone used Sole F80 before? any comment? Thanks in advance.
