Weight systems are cheap and small. You can find used BowFlex on CL for $400. You can get a treadmill at Play it Again for $500. Whatever you need you can buy, cheap as a used product. People buy these all the time, use them for 30 days and then stop. They spend $2K on a system and sell it two years later for $400 after using it 10 times.
Then you can use for free and sell it when you are done. No travel time, no membership, no fees, and you have an asset, not a monthly bill.

Hey guys! I saw a commercial for the bowflex treadclimber and this one guy said he lost 116 pounds in 9 months :O I don't need to lose that much weight but I do want to slim down a little and the faster the better! So has anyone tried it? Does it work? What were your results? And how much did it cost you? Thank you :)

    • If you use it, yes it would help along with the right dies. problem is these type of things are often bought and not used very often. If you plan on buying one, you just got to use the thing. they're not cheap.

  • Avatar Mr. LOL Bowflex treadclimber a good machine?
Mar 27, 2009 by Mr. LOL | Posted in Diet & Fitness

I'm looking to buy another workout machine. I'm a fairly "hard core" exerciser when it comes to aerobics. Are they a reliable machine? How much does it cost? Is it considered low impact? I have a bad knee and I don't run or use a treadmill. I mostly do bicycling and elliptical. Thanks

    • I've reviewed several websites that offer customer feedback. I've seen complaints on sevice, price, and the number of moving parts increases liklihood of breakdown. Looks like a unique movement that I would try out before buying. You get what you pay for so I am sure the top end model is the most durable. Before you buy, check out quest for endorphins at the link below. Not a bad idea.
