To heal and grow, they need recovery time to repair all the little tears in them made during resistance exercise. working the same muscles every day on your bowflex is counterproductive. to see progress faster, giving the muscles time to heal by going to a split routine for every day or a whole body routine every other day would be a better move.
would you have time for cardio exercise if you had a stationary bike, treadmill or elliptical at home?
fwiw, i agree with everyone who is telling you to lose weight, gain muscle, and focus on an end goal weight later. i'm assuming what you really want is to look great, be healthy and be in the best shape of your life.

Our home gym is in our basement. We have a what I think you're talking about for the standard weight exercises, a treadmill, and an elliptical. Been thinking about getting a rowing machine, but haven't yet. We also have a TV with VHS/DVD and mats down for stretching (and some lifting).
I don't know if you know what you're doing with weights, but you might want to get a book to help you get...'re working all of the major muscle groups. I know I've mentioned it on here before, but my favorite is "Getting Stronger" by Bill Pearl, which was the textbook for the weightlifting class I took in college. We had considered getting a Bowflex, but decided that I'd try sticking to a routine in there for a few months to see if I got the benefit I wanted without crowding our space more, and I did.

    My employer grants me up to $800 per year to buy fitness equipment, including things like a bicycle, treadmill, elliptical, bowflex type things, or for fitness club membership. Last year I got a nice elliptical, this yea …'t want something huge taking up a lot of room. I'm indecisive and need some recommendations! I have a swimming pool so if it's something I can use in the pool that's a plus (but of course only good for warmer months).

    • Insanity and/or P90X...great ways to lose weight right there! Or buy kettlebells and their workout dvds, those are also good calorie burners!

    • FASTING ! Detoxifying? Weight loss wont work if you do it that way. Go to my profile and where it says "about me" go to the first link and then to meal plans. If you have the BBC chanel watch YOU ARE WHAT YOU EA …to increase your metabolism is to go for a run in the morning or a very quick walk and then eat your meals regularly and then a nice paced walk after lunch and then do a full work out at night after or before your dinner.

    • First let me say that it's great you're a vegan. I'm a vegan too and that should help you lose weight. Here's some weight loss tip's I have picked up over the years: - Exercise 6 to 7 days a week. - And try to break your …put it in my body. Because you are what you eat. And just remember that you can do this. It's not impossible. You just have to stick to it and the weight will just fall off. Good luck with losing weight. Hope I've helped.

    • Sounds like your diet is fine...you need aerobic everyday (being 14 i'd say 30 mins a day), you should also lift weights (bowflex) to build muscle mass (muscle weighs more than fat but it also burns fat just sitting there...taht's why guys have an easier time with weight than girls...on avg they have moe muscle mass...good luck but loosing 30 lbs in 3 months is not raeliatsic...just make steady progress, NEXT summer you'll be a total hard body...
